Annual Customer Conference | 2023 | New Orleans, LA

  • Every detail was managed from concept through execution. The event included 46 presenters, 18 sponsors, 19 training sessions, 33 breakout sessions, three keynote speakers, one panel discussion, and three networking receptions. Also coordinated were all meals, branded signage throughout the hotel, promotional giveaways, raffles, and logistics for attendees. The offsite reception was a highlight, featuring a Second Line Parade through the French Quarter with a 5-piece brass band, ending at Latrobe’s on Royal. Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, drinks, desserts on fire, dancing, karaoke, and themed activities like tarot and palm readings to reflect the local New Orleans flair.

Skippy Dee Doo Dah | 2023 | Sarasota, FL

  • Led all social media marketing for this awareness-driven skip-a-thon benefiting child sex trafficking survivors. Promoted the event, VIP parties, speakers and sponsors across platforms to boost engagement and turnout. On-site, event logistics were supported, vendors coordinated, and kept the program aligned with its mission to honor and amplify survivor voices.

Annual Customer Conference | 2019 & 2022 | Savannah, GA & Orlando, FL

  • As the event planner for annual customer conferences in both Orlando (2022) and Savannah (2019), every detail from venue selection and contract negotiation to agenda development and onsite execution was handled. Each multi-day event included a mix of technical training sessions, keynote presentations, sponsor showcases, and networking receptions. Vendor were coordinated, branding, signage, promotional items, and meal planning was a seamless experience for attendees, sponsors, speakers, and internal stakeholders.

    Virtual Customer Conferences | 2021 & 2020 | Online

    • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this conference strategically shifted to a virtual platform for the 2020 and 2021 annual customer conferences. Managing all aspects of event promotion, digital content development, and platform coordination ensured a seamless and engaging online experience. These virtual events not only maintained attendee engagement but successfully doubled attendance compared to prior in-person conferences, expanding our reach and visibility across the utility industry.

    Annual Customer Conference | 2012 - 2016 | Various US Cities

    • Planned and executed Survalent’s Annual Customer Conferences from 2012 to 2016 in multiple locations including Orlando, FL (2012), Niagara Falls, ON (2013 & 2016), New Orleans, LA (2014), and Arlington, TX (2015). These multi-day events featured hands-on training sessions, product demonstrations, executive presentations, and customer appreciation activities. All logistics were managed including venue selection, agenda planning, speaker coordination, branding and signage, catering, entertainment, and promotional giveaways. Each event was designed to educate, engage, and strengthen client relationships while showcasing Survalent’s leadership in the utility software industry.

DISTRIBUTECH & TechAdvantage Trade Shows | 2011–2024 | Various US Cities

    • Over the course of a decade, several DISTRIBUTECH and TechAdvantage trade show events have been planned for various companies in the utility/energy space, with each year's event taking place in a different U.S. city. Most recently, we led the design of a custom 30x40 booth that featured five product demo kiosks, lead scanning stations, storage, a private meeting area, and a dedicated presentation theater. For TechAdvantage, that booth was strategically adapted and scaled the booth down to a 20x20 footprint while maintaining visual and brand continuity. Responsibilities spanned from concept to completion—including messaging, logistics, booth orders and management, and on-site execution—ensuring a strong and consistent brand presence and driving high-quality attendee engagement year after year.

Craft Brewers Tour & Open House Event | 2017 | Fort Worth, TX

    • To introduce May Group’s signage solutions to the craft beer market, we organized an on-site open house and networking event for local breweries. Attendees toured the facility to see how the signage was made, then gathered under the event tent for donated beers from local craft breweries, BBQ, a live acoustic set, and a keynote from Rahr & Sons on their growth. All aspects of the event were handled - from branding and promotion to vendor coordination and setup. The event’s targeted approach led to 75 new accounts and over $100K in proposals, successfully expanding our their footprint in a new vertical.

Open House Event | 2015 | Fort Worth, TX

    • We planned an open house to increase local membership and exposure for an area gym. We designed and hand-delivered invitations to nearby businesses and developed custom brochures featuring limited-time offers. We also coordinated food and beverage, set up music for ambiance, and had all trainers present to give facility tours and answer questions.

The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton Events | 2010 | Dallas, TX

    • This involved a series of high-end events to showcase the launch of three designer homes - designed by Jan Showers, Carleton Varney, or Laura Hunt. These events benefited each designer’s charity of choice and provided clients and realtors with the opportunity to tour the homes and meet the designers. Invitations were sent via email and valet services placed surprise gift bags in guests' cars. Catering was coordinated with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and music arranged in each show home, as well as hiring security to manage access and maintain exclusivity.
    • The Ritz-Carlton Pool Party was a standout collaboration with Stanley Korshak, who provided swimsuit models to showcase fashion throughout the pool area. The event featured a live DJ, custom cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres both poolside and in the showcase homes. Roni Proter from WB33 covered the event for the evening news. We managed valet coordination, arranged guest gift bags, oversaw music in the model homes, and ensured all event logistics ran smoothly, including hiring security for access control.

Chelsea Park Townhomes | 2008 | Arlington, TX

    • We planned and executed several open house weekends, where the sales center was staged and opened to the public. Visitors received a tour of the sales center, where they viewed maps and development plans detailing floorplans, pricing, and unit locations. The tour ended with a light breakfast of pastries, coffee, and juice in a relaxed setting designed to foster conversation and connection.
    • A series of Champagne Brunch events were hosted on Sundays, when the office was usually closed. These casual, come-and-go styled gatherings invited new traffic into the sales center with a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches like mimosas, coffee, and a curated brunch spread. The goal was to create a sense of community while building momentum in sales and referrals.
    • The project’s groundbreaking celebration was another standout event, held outdoors under a cooled tent set up in the sales center parking lot. All details, including catering from the popular Captain Billy’s Whiz Bang Burgers, margarita machines, beer service, and music from a live DJ were planned. Floral arrangements in hard hats added a playful construction-themed touch, while large tractors parked around the property created a striking visual display. Guests who RSVP’d in advance received suite tickets to an upcoming Texas Rangers game as an added incentive.
    • For the grand opening of the first building, we worked closely with the Texas Rangers to promote the project on the stadium’s big screen and launched a “condo giveaway” promotion during several home games. In return, the property was given 2,000 ticket vouchers for prospects and exclusive use of a 100-person suite to host a grand opening party. The event began at the newly completed sales center inside an actual townhome, where guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine while exploring the new facility. Reserved guests received tickets and were transported via private tour buses to the ballpark, where they enjoyed a fully catered suite experience before being shuttled back afterward.

Movies in the Park | 2006 | Austin, TX

        • To promote the Milago Condominiums, we  organized a five-month-long “Movies in the Park” series at Republic Square. In partnership with Alamo Drafthouse and Urbanspace Realtors, we managed the logistics of the pop-up event, including food, beverages, restroom facilities, and family-friendly movie screenings. These events successfully brought the community together and generated brand awareness for the new development.

        Aviara Apartments | 2004 | Euless, TX

        • We coordinated a pool party to build a sense of community and elevate the resident experience. The event featured a live DJ, catering, and I also secured vendor donations for prize giveaways, which added to the excitement and encouraged attendance.
