Skippy Dee Doo Dah

Skippy Dee Doo Dah is a skip-a-thon style event that raises awareness of child sex trafficking and helps raise funds to restore the lives of child sex trafficking and sexual exploitation survivors. The event, shown below, took place in Sarasota, Florida, and included several food trucks, a merch booth, vendor booths, sponsors and speakers from around America that are both survivors of child sex trafficking and whistleblowers helping to expose the horrors.

Annual Customer Conference

Event: Conference

Sole planner for an annual customer conference held at the Sheraton New Orleans in 2023. The conference included 46 presenters, 18 sponsors, 19 training sessions, 33 conference breakouts, 3 keynote speakers, 1 panel discussion and 3 networking receptions. Additional planning included all meals and breaks, promotional giveaways, raffles, and signage/branding throughout the event space and through the hotel, as well as at the offsite networking reception.

The offsite reception consisted of blocking off streets through the French Quarter for the group to participate in a Second Line Parade complete with brass band. The parade ended at Latrobe's on Royal, where guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, desserts on fire, dancing, karaoke, and networking, as well as palm and tarot readings in keeping with the New Orleans theme.

The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton

Event: Showcase Home Grand Opening Events (various)

There were three designer homes that launched at separate times, each done by very renowned designers - Jan Showers, Carleton Varney and Laura Hunt. Each of these events benefited various charities that the designers worked directly with and allowed clients and realtors to come and tour the new homes and meet the designer. Assisted with design of invitations that were sent via Constant Contact to all clients and current homeowners. Organized informational brochures that were handed out at each event along with an itinerary of the evening. Organized security to assist attendees with accessing elevators and to secure model homes. Worked directly with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel catering department to select food and drinks and plan locations and setup and setup music in each showcase home. Booked additional valet and packaged gift bags for valet to place in each car as a surprise to guests while they were leaving.

Pam’s Ribbons & Roses

Event: Weddings, Balls and Special Events (various)

Assisted with everything from design, delivery, setup and tear down of countless weddings, receptions, charity balls, and special events. Supervised the setup of facilities.

Chelsea Park Townhomes

Event: Open House Events (various)

These were held at random on either Saturdays or Sundays once the sales center moved into an actual condominium unit. The community had 8 different floorplans - one of each was opened for the open house. Potential buyers would check into the sales center, where maps to each unit were provided. Inside each unit was information on the plan, plan locations within the community and the pricing. The tour ended inside the model home where a light breakfast of pastries, coffee and juice were served.

Chelsea Park Townhomes

Event: Groundbreaking Celebration

This casual event was held outdoors under a cooled tent that was setup in the sales center parking lot. Event also included a DJ, catering from the local and reputable Captain Billy's Whiz Bang Burgers, margarita machines and beer, and floral centerpieces done inside of hard hats. Construction was asked to park the large tractors around the sales center for the event. Tickets to the 50-person suite at Rangers Ballpark were delivered to those that reserved tickets.

Fairfield Residential

Event: Movies in the Park (Republic Square) in Austin

This was a five-month series of family friendly movies to help promote and advertise the new Milago Condominiums that were being built by Fairfield. Co-sponsored with Alamo Draft House and urbanspace Realtors who helped to provide the food, beverages, restroom facilities and pop-up movie screen.  

DISTRIBUTECH

Event: Tradeshow

DISTRIBUTECH is an annual event for transmission and distribution utilities. The 30x40 booth showcased innovative, modern elements, with 5 kiosks for product demos, branding and messaging in multiple locations, a reception area for client intake and lead scanning, storage space for supplies, a private space for meeting with potential clients, and a theater area for presentations showcasing the latest products and solutions.

TechAdvantage

Event: Tradeshow

TechAdvantage is an annual event for technology professionals to explore solutions for the future of the electric cooperative industry. The 20x20 booth design borrowed from a larger 30x40 DISTRIBUTECH booth, mentioned above, and reused 2 of the 5 kiosks for product demos, keeping with the same branding and messaging in multiple locations, a reception area for client intake and lead scanning, storage space for supplies, a theater area for showcasing product videos plus table seating for meeting with potential clients.

The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton

Event: Pool Party

This event was co-hosted with Stanley Korshak, who provided swimsuit models around the pool area throughout the course of the party, showcasing the latest swimsuit styles. Roni Proter, WB33’s style reporter attended and did a special that aired on the news the following night. Food and drinks, from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel were served poolside, as well as hors d'oeuvres and shooter size cocktails in the model homes. Booked the DJ to play poolside and ordered misting fans to keep guest cool. Setup music in each showcase home. Booked additional valet and packaged gift bags for valet to place in each car as a surprise to guest while they were leaving. Organized security to assist attendees with accessing elevators and pool, and to secure model homes.

Inursha Fitness

Event: Open House

Designed and hand delivered invitations to all surrounding businesses. Designed informational brochures that were handed out at events that included special “open-house” discounts. Purchased, prepared and setup food and drinks. Had all trainers on hand and in uniform to answer questions and tour new clients through the facility. Provided music for event.

Chelsea Park Townhomes

Event: Champagne Brunch Events (various)

These were held at random on Sundays, when the office was typically closed. A come-and-go styled event to get new traffic inside the sales center to potentially increase sales. Typical brunch items were served along with Mimosas and coffee.

Event: Grand Opening Celebration

This condominium project was located a few blocks from the Rangers Ballpark. To help sell the lifestyle, I worked directly with the Texas Rangers to run advertisements on the big screen throughout the game and held a “condo-giveaway” contest at various games. In exchange, we received 2000 ticket vouchers to give to potential buyers and the use of a 100-person suite for our grand opening party. Potential buyers and buyers arrived at the newly completed sales center where light hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine were served while they toured the facility. Tickets to the suite were delivered to those that reserved tickets and two tour buses worked in rotation to take groups of people to the ballpark to a suite fully stocked with food and drinks. The buses then brought them back to the sales center after the game.

Fairfield Residential

Event: Property Pool Parties (various)

Booked DJ and Caterer. Obtained vendor donations to serve as prize giveaways during the party. Designed and distributed invitations to residents. Ordered and arranged decorations.
